The world's first phased array CT, developed by Beijing NanoVison Technology Co., Ltd., was installed in Shanghai yesterday. It is capable of providing doctors with ultra-high-definition images of internal body parts, thereby significantly improving the accuracy of early disease diagnosis.

由北京纳米维景科技有限公司研发的全球首台相控阵电子计算机断层扫描设备昨日在上海完成安装，有能力为医生提供患者体内部件的超高清影像，从而显著提升早期疾病诊断的精准度。

"With this CT device, we can see ultra-high-definition pulmonary pathological imaging information. Such clear images could only be obtained through dissection in the past," said Yan Fuhua, director of the Radiology Department at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, at yesterday's commissioning ceremony for the new equipment.

“通过这台电子计算机断层扫描设备，可以看到超高清的肺部病理学成像信息，这样清晰度的影像在以往只能经解剖才能获取，”上海瑞金医院放射科主任严福华在昨日举办的新设备落成仪式上称。

严福华对一财表示，更清晰、更低剂量的高端医学设备一直以来都是临床所需。“以患者肺部影像为例，相控阵电子计算机断层扫描技术下的像素可以达到3072*3072，远远优于常规电子计算机断层扫描设备的512*512，病灶的细节、周围结构都得以展现。” 

Yang Huilin, director of the Orthopedics Department at The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, told Yicai that this phased array CT can improve the accuracy of orthopedic minimally invasive surgeries and will help create new application scenarios such as full-course management of osteoporosis.

苏州大学附属第一医院骨科主任杨惠林告诉一财，这台相控阵电子计算机断层扫描设备可以提升骨科微创手术的精准度，也将有助于开创骨质疏松全病程管理等新应用场景。

Yicai learned at the equipment commissioning ceremony that Shanghai Ruijin Hospital will lead about 400 clinical trials using this device, and the developer is confident of obtaining a Class III medical device certificate from regulators by the end of the year.

一财在设备落成仪式上了解到，这台设备将由上海瑞金医院牵头开展约400例临床试验，设备研发企业有信心在年底前获得监管颁发的第三类医疗器械证。

Cao Hongguang, chief scientist of NanoVison, told Yicai that the core component of the phased array CT is the "photon stream detector," which uses a unique pulsed exposure scanning method, with image reconstruction achieved through computing power and algorithms. This not only enables ultra-high-definition imaging but also reduces the scanning dose by more than 50 percent.

纳米维景首席科学家曹红光告诉一财，相控阵电子计算机断层扫描设备的核心部件是“光子流探测器”，使用了独有的脉冲式曝光扫描，再通过算力与算法来进行图像重建。不仅实现了超高清的影像，还可以降低扫描剂量50%以上。

Cao noted that the phased array CT is a fully independently developed device by the company, and the domestic production of its core components is expected to greatly boost the upstream and downstream sectors of this technology's industrial chain.

曹红光介绍，相控阵电子计算机断层扫描设备是公司完全自主研发的设备，其核心部件的国产制造预计将对这项技术的产业链上下游带来非常大的促动作用。
